Agency Best Practices

Below are a few best practices to help you navigate the event platform and use the behind-the-scenes event management controls.

General:
  • Log in to the event using two monitors or screens.
    Having two monitors will allow you to watch your attendee chat messages and engagement on the Event Management screens while participating in the event on another.
  • Update your browser.
    For the best user experience, make sure your browser is updated and on our list of compatible browsers with LEX Events. For a list of these browsers, click here: System Requirements.
Using the Event Management Controls:
  • Only view and respond to chat messages from attendees that are tied to you as the salesperson.
  • Use the attendee chat to encourage attendees to join more rooms to unlock their swag. 
  • Copy a featured or networking room’s direct link and paste it into your attendee chat to ask an attendee to join you in that room.
  • Use the “Filter Active” button to display which attendees are currently interacting in the event LIVE.
  • Introduce your customers to the presenting exhibitor.
  • Help the presenting exhibitor manage the questions or comments that come up in the chat.
  • Always keep your camera on, and participate in the room(s) by unmuting yourself when speaking!
