Below are a few best practices to help you gain the best experience while using the LEX Events platform.
- Update your browser. For the best user experience while presenting, make sure your browser is updated and on our list of compatible browsers with LEX Events. For a list of these browsers, click here: System Requirements.
- Log in to the event using two monitors or screens. Having two monitors will allow you to manage your presentation on one screen and interact with your attendees on another.
- Test your presentation, camera, microphone, and speaker before the event. Each event will have ample opportunity for practicing on the platform before your event day.
- Use a branded background. Although you cannot create a custom virtual background in LEX Events, we highly recommend placing a branded banner or sign behind you while presenting.
- Treat your networking room in the same manner as you would a live trade show booth.
- Turn on your Away Message when you are not in your room (i.e., bathroom breaks, lunch breaks, or presenting in another room).
- Have fun and make great connections with your attendees!
