If you were kicked out of a featured or networking room, it is most likely related to your internet connection or the exhibitor ending the session. Below are a few reasons you could have been kicked out of a room:
- You or the presenting exhibitor could have lost your internet connection.
If you received the error message “Bad Signaling Request,” you were kicked out of the room due to a poor wifi connection. Please click here for some troubleshooting tips for your internet connection: Poor Internet Connection. - The presenter could have ended the session or left the room.
Even if the room session is scheduled to end at a certain time, the room will stay open as long as the presenting exhibitor is in the room. If the exhibitor is not in their room for 5 minutes, the room will close. - You were taken back to the “Check Your Audio and Video” screen after refreshing the page.
If you refresh your screen while inside a featured or networking room, you will automatically be taken back to the “Check Your Audio and Video” screen. Although it may appear that you were kicked out of the room, all you have to do is click the purple “Enter Room” button, and you will be taken right back to the room.
If you did happen to get kicked out of a room, you could always try to enter the room again from the main event page titled “All Meetings.” If this still does not work, try entering other rooms while waiting for the presenter to open their room again. Another tip is to make sure that the event is only open in one tab and that you are only joining one room at a time.
